Thrill is a growing digital agency focused on delivering powerful advertising solutions using high-performance, SEO-optimized websites for our clients—primarily within the home services and flooring industries. Our websites are built on PHP—no templates, no shortcuts—and we take pride in doing the work properly. As we continue to scale, we’re looking for a technically strong team member who can step into the development and SEO seat and become the operational backbone of our production team.
This is a full-time, long-term role working directly with the agency’s two founders. You’ll be plugged into day-to-day project flows, contributing to both the technical build-out of client websites and the cutting-edge SEO/AIO strategies behind them. We operate Monday to Friday, US hours, and value clear communication, proactive problem-solving, and a "get it done" mentality.

Our existing remote team members have been with us for years because we ensure everyone feels included, involved, and valued. We are seeking a detail-oriented Web Developer who bridges the gap between creative design and modern technical execution. Your primary mission will be taking high-fidelity mockups from our design team (Figma and Adobe Photoshop) and translating them into pixel-perfect, lightning-fast web pages.
Because we operate on a PHP foundation, you will integrate your frontend code into our existing backend architecture. Crucially, you will be our technical lead for AIO (AI Overview Optimization)—structuring our site so that Google’s AI Overviews and other generative engines cite our client as the definitive authority in their fields.
• PHP Web Development — Build, maintain, and enhance custom PHP websites for agency clients. Work directly from Figma or PSD design files to implement pixel-accurate, functional web builds. No off-the-shelf themes — this is custom code work.
• AIO & GEO Implementation: Architect pages specifically for "machine-readability" to win citations in AI search results (Google AI Overviews).
• Advanced Schema Markup: Deploy advanced JSON-LD structured data (FAQ, How-To, Product, and LocalBusiness) to provide a semantic layer that AI engines can easily ingest.
• Front-End Implementation — Write clean HTML5 and CSS3 as part of the development workflow. Translate design comps into polished, responsive layouts that meet client expectations.
• Database & Backend Work — Navigate and manage SQL databases as part of the agency's tech stack. Comfortable querying, updating, and troubleshooting database-level issues as they come up in project work.
• SEO Roadmapping & Implementation — Develop and execute SEO strategies for agency clients — keyword research, on-page optimization, technical SEO audits, and ongoing performance tracking. AI SEO tools and content structuring are part of the workflow.
• Performance (Core Web Vitals): Optimize for the 2026 standards of LCP , CLS, and INP (Interaction to Next Paint) to ensure the site meets the speed requirements for both human users and AI indexing. For example, lazy loading for long product lists.
• Project Communication & Reporting — Keep founders updated throughout project timelines. When things go sideways (and in web dev, they sometimes do), communicate clearly, propose solutions, and keep the project moving. Organized status updates and proactive flags are expected.
• Daily Collaboration — Be available and responsive Monday through Friday during US business hours. Attend team check-ins, contribute ideas, and work as a true team member — not just a task executor.
Required:
• Solid PHP development experience — custom websites, not just CMS themes
• Deep expertise in semantic HTML5, modern CSS3 (Flexbox/Grid), and Vanilla JavaScript.
• Ability to implement Figma or PSD design files into working, coded websites
• SQL database experience — comfortable reading, writing, and troubleshooting queries
• SEO knowledge — keyword research, on-page optimization, technical SEO, content structure.
• AIO/GEO knowledge
• Experience with Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and structured content
hierarchy.
• Expertise in Schema.org (JSON-LD) implementation within PHP templates.
• Understanding of " Answer-First" content architecture and citable passage ranking.
• Frameworks & Libraries: Strong working knowledge of Bootstrap 5+, jQuery, and CSS preprocessors (SASS).
• Full-time availability, 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday
• Reliable availability during US business hours (overlap with US EST/CST required)
• Strong written & Spoken English communication — organized, clear, and proactive
• Resilient and coachable — able to receive feedback and pivot without taking it personally
• Based in the Philippines (preferred) or Latin America
• Version Control: Experience using Git for safe code management and deployments.
• Experience with AI-assisted SEO tools and content workflows
• Familiarity with agency project flows and multiple simultaneous client accounts
• Experience working with US-based clients or agencies
• Exposure to digital marketing, landing page builds, or sub-brand website launches
• Hours: Full-time — 40 hours/week
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, US business hour

• Compensation: $1,600–$1,800 USD/month (based on experience)
