Part-time Experienced Media Buyer

The client runs a successful coaching business with a proven program serving over 300 members in recent years. We are expanding our marketing efforts to include paid advertising and are seeking a talented Facebook Ads Manager to help drive growth and increase exposure.
The Media Buyer will be responsible for planning, creating, managing, optimizing, and reporting on paid ad campaigns (primarily Facebook and Instagram) to generate leads and sales for our coaching programs. This role requires expertise in paid traffic strategies and a data-driven mindset to ensure an efficient cost per lead (CPL).
• Collaborate with the CEO and marketing team to understand business goals, target audience, and customer journey.
• Develop a paid ads strategy that aligns with our organic marketing efforts and overall sales funnel.
Campaign Creation and Setup:
• Build and launch Facebook and Instagram ad campaigns including setting objectives, selecting audiences, designing ad creatives, and writing high-converting ad copy.
• Create and maintain organized campaign structures inside Facebook Business Manager (CBO vs ABO, retargeting layers, etc.).
• Monitor campaigns daily for performance, budget pacing, and engagement metrics.
• Adjust bids, targeting, creatives, and budgets as needed to maximize results and reduce cost per lead (CPL).
• Quickly identify and resolve underperforming ads or audiences.
• Create custom audiences, lookalike audiences, and retargeting strategies to nurture cold, warm, and hot leads.
• Implement dynamic retargeting for website visitors, video viewers, and previous engagers.
• Develop and manage a creative testing framework to continually improve ad copy, images, and videos.
• Conduct A/B tests on ad variations to determine winning creatives and messaging.
• Track not just lead quantity, but lead quality.
• Provide feedback to the team if ads are generating low-quality leads so funnel adjustments can be made.
• Provide weekly performance reports detailing key metrics such as impressions, clicks, leads, CPL, conversion rates, and ROAS.
• Analyze data to draw insights and recommend optimizations for future campaigns.

• Manage the ad spend effectively to ensure campaigns stay within the allocated daily and monthly budgets.
• Suggest scaling opportunities based on performance trends.
• Stay updated with changes to Facebook and Instagram advertising policies and algorithm updates.
• Implement new advertising features and best practices as they become available.
• Communicate campaign performance, results, and ideas clearly during team meetings.
• Work closely with the internal marketing team for content needs (ad creatives, landing pages, lead magnets, etc.).
• Proven experience running and optimizing Facebook and Instagram ads (required).
• Ability to consistently maintain or improve CPL
• Strong understanding of paid media buying strategies and audience targeting.
• Experience with Facebook Business Manager and Ads Manager tools.
• Analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent written English skills for ad copywriting.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Previous experience with coaching, education, or service-based businesses is a plus.
