We’re hiring a smart, adaptable, and highly reliable Executive Assistant with experience in short-term rentals (Airbnb) and digital marketing to support a dynamic entrepreneur in Texas. This is a multifaceted, high-responsibility role that will require flexibility, proactive thinking, and exceptional communication.
You’ll wear many hats—from assisting with Airbnb guest communications to managing backend admin tasks, helping with book launch logistics, and executing social media content. You will be the go-to person for weekend coverage and high-priority support across multiple businesses.
Airbnb Support
• Respond to guest inquiries and complaints with urgency, courtesy, and professionalism
• Maintain 5-star response times and guest satisfaction ratings
• Troubleshoot and coordinate with local vendors (exterminators, yard maintenance, handyman, etc.)
• Communicate regularly with the cleaner
• Be on-call during high-demand hours (especially weekends and evenings)
• Maintain organized records of bookings, messages, and issues
Executive Assistance
• Support daily personal and professional tasks for the client
• Coordinate tasks across nonprofit work, coaching business, and book launch activities
• Perform bookkeeping activities (Quickbooks)
• Assist in ad hoc personal errands (e.g., research, ordering, follow-ups)
• Participate in daily Zoom check-ins and maintain task accountability
• Proactively identify and solve problems before they escalate
Marketing & Social Media
• Create and schedule content for social media (Substack, Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
• Assist with email marketing, basic branding tasks, and basic website maintenance (WordPress)
• Support event coordination and digital launch activities for a new book
• Perform light design and copywriting duties (using Canva or similar tools)
• Fluent English (near-native with minimal accent) – capable of guest communication and phone calls with U.S.-based vendors
• Quick responder – comfortable responding rapidly and appropriately to time-sensitive guest messages
• Organized & detail-oriented – able to juggle multiple types of work while staying on task
• Flexible & curious – every day may look different; you must adapt, learn fast, and work independently
• Marketing savvy – some familiarity with branding, posting, scheduling, and basic social tools
• Background in Airbnb or STRs – either as a host, assistant, or guest support
• Trustworthy & accountable – able to build trust with the client and work closely long-term
• Weekend availability required: Saturdays & Sundays, 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. CST (Texas time)
• Weekdays: 1–2 full weekdays off per week, flexible (to maintain 40 hrs/week max)
• Daily overlap: Work hours should align with the client’s afternoons (starting around 3:00 p.m. CST) to allow for real-time communication
• Expectation: Available during high-traffic Airbnb booking and guest periods; consistent and clear communication on availability is essential
• Full-time, 40 hrs/week
• $1,200–$1,600/month depending on experience
• Overtime only upon mutual agreement in writing
